Job Description:
HUG is partnering with a well-funded AI company that recently emerged from stealth after raising a $40M seed round from leading investors and operators in AI and enterprise software. The team is building next-generation AI agents capable of continuously learning, adapting, and developing expertise within complex environments. They're now hiring several early engineers to help transform cutting-edge research into production systems used by enterprises and developers. What You'll Work On Production AI agent systems Agent memory and reasoning frameworks Backend infrastructure and APIs Developer tools and SDKs AI product experiences Scaling research into real-world applications Must-Haves Experience building and shipping AI-powered products or agent systems Strong software engineering fundamentals (architecture, systems design, scalability, distributed systems) Experience in a startup environment OR a fast-moving, high-performing engineering organisation Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move quickly with ownership Strong product mindset and ability to take ideas from concept to production Particularly Interesting Backgrounds AI-native startups Applied AI teams Agent infrastructure companies Developer platforms Product-focused engineering teams Bonus Points Agent orchestration Tool calling Agent memory systems Developer tools or SDKs Open-source contributions Experience working closely with research teams This is an opportunity to join very early after a major funding round and work alongside researchers and engineers from some of the world's leading AI organisations.
