Artificial Intelligence Technician

Responsibilities AI & Software Development :

Assist in programming, modifying code, and developing AI-driven industrial machinery. Work primarily with Python to build AI models, manage image datasets, and conduct model training.

Systems Integration :

Support the advancement of the primary software system and gain hands-on exposure to C#, C++, OpenCV, TensorFlow, and Raspberry Pi environments.

Industrial Automation :

Assist with the administration and troubleshooting of PLC-driven (Programmable Logic Controller) and automated factory equipment.

IT Infrastructure Support :

Provide foundational, first-level IT support and system administration to internal teams as required.

International Collaboration :

Maintain strong communication with our global teams. This position requires occasional international travel, including at least one annual trip to Wales, UK, for hands-on training and alignment with the Corporate AI Team. Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of AI applications to resolve technical issues efficiently. Maintain detailed documentation of AI processes, configurations, and system updates to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Stay current with emerging trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning frameworks, and related technologies to recommend innovative improvements. Assist in training team members on new AI tools and methodologies to foster continuous learning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Proven experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ used in AI development. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Strong understanding of neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision or related AI domains. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues methodically and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse teams. Nice-to-have skills include experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data preprocessing techniques, and knowledge of cybersecurity principles related to AI systems. $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
