AI/Cloud & Java Application Support Engineer III - (Contract) - Central Time Hours Global Biotech organization seeks an AI/Cloud & Java Application Support Engineer III for a 6-month remote contract with likely extensions working central time hours. This individual will have a minimum of 8+ years working within complex applications to include analytics platforms and data pipelines, and within a regulatory environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating/training AI models to improve complex troubleshooting, automation, and monitoring of organizational product sets. This person must possess a thorough understanding of infrastructure for integrations encompassing Oracle, AWS, Datadog, JIRA, Confluence, Java Code base, and possibly Kafka, based on need. Advanced technical capabilities to troubleshoot mission critical cloud-based applications and data platforms in a regulated environment using various engineering practices and AI assisted operational tools (AIOps, observability intelligence, and AI Copilots) are also required. Lastly, this requires strong hands-on experience in Java (Spring Framework), Python, and SQL/MySQL, with regulatory experience in HIPAA, PHI, SOC or similar. Requirements:

Experience with AI and AIOps to include using AI enabled monitoring, logging and observability tools like anomaly detection, and automated alert correlation. Familiarity with AIOps concepts like Noise Reduction, Event Correlation, and Predictive Performance Analysis. Comfort working with AI systems as decision support tools. Expertise with AI assisted engineering tools to include hands-on AI powered development/troubleshooting tools (code assistants, log analysis, etc.). Expertise in evaluating AI-generated output and applying engineering logic to this. Prior experience working with Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP Expertise using Observability Tooling (metrics, logs, traces), CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, and Ticketing/ITSM platforms like ServiceNow/Jira.
