Engineered Structures, Inc. ESI's AI Solutions Architect will help lead the discovery, design, and early implementation of AI-driven solutions across our organization. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role focused on translating business needs into practical AI applications. This position will play a critical role in shaping our AI roadmap. Translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions using LLMs and related tools. Design solution architectures and workflows for AI use cases. Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical language. Prototype or guide early-stage AI implementations (proofs of concept). Evaluate tools, platforms, and vendors in the AI ecosystem. Assist in defining technical requirements and interviewing future engineering hires. Act as a bridge between business teams and technical development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Technology, or similar required. 1-2+ years working in or alongside AI/ML implementations required. Experience in a company that has deployed AI solutions in real-world workflows is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to deliver usable AI-driven products, tools, or workflows. Experience managing Standard Operating Procedures and a Central Learning Management system. Experience setting up/maintaining a CI/CD pipeline and software testing suites. Experience working with structured and unstructured data. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience working with at least one major LLM (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT). Practical understanding of prompt engineering, workflows, or AI tool integration. Problem-solving mindset with a bias toward execution. Ability to create and track Key Performance Indicators. Interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of team members, clients, and subcontractors Physical Demands Flexibility in working hours may be required, including evening and weekend work as needed. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Regularly operates a computer, including keyboard, mouse, and other components including power tools. Travel Requirements Occasional travel to remote office buildings or job sites as needed.
