Job Description

Technology Lead - AI Assisted Development Schneider Electric - Energy & Sustainability Software Join a team building cloud-based products that help organizations reduce energy use and drive real sustainability impact. We're looking for a Senior .NET Core Engineer who's excited about modern engineering practices - especially AI-augmented development - and wants to build scalable, high-quality systems on Azure. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $135,000 - $160,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build and enhance SaaS applications used by global customers to track, analyze, and optimize energy and sustainability performance.
  • Design and develop .NET Core-based services, APIs, integrations, and backend systems.
  • Work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to design clean, scalable solutions.
  • Use AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) throughout the SDLC - from design and prototyping to code generation, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
  • Help shape best practices for AI-assisted engineering, including prompt techniques and quality controls.
  • Integrate and process sustainability-related data across various systems and services.
  • Build cloud-ready, resilient solutions using Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, App Insights, Data Factory, etc.).
  • Write maintainable, high-quality C# code and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay current with emerging tech - especially new AI tools - and help bring them into our workflow. Our Engineering Culture
