THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled AI expert to join our new team focused on integrating AI technologies into our Vivado EDA design tools. This role is central to architecting and implementing AI/ML solutions that enhance Vivado's capabilities through Large Language Models, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation. As part of the Vivado R D organization, you will leverage your extensive AI expertise and EDA background to create breakthrough AI-powered features for FPGA design tools in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate is an experienced AI expert with a strong background in FPGA design methodologies and EDA tool development. You are skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders and have extensive experience with AI/ML initiatives in enterprise software environments, with a proven track record of deploying production AI systems. You possess deep expertise in Large Language Models, Agentic AI systems, and machine learning engineering, preferably with Synopsys or similar EDA experience. You are passionate about pioneering innovative AI solutions from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement Large Language Model integrations for FPGA design assistance Develop Agentic AI systems for automated design optimization Conduct research and development of novel AI applications in EDA tools
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience with AI/ML initiatives and a proven track record of deploying production AI systems Deep expertise in Large Language Models, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering Experience designing agentic AI solutions and multi-agent systems Strong background in EDA tools and workflows, preferably with Synopsys experience Proficiency in MLOps, model deployment, and lifecycle management Advanced skills in Python, C++, and AI/ML orchestration frameworks In-depth knowledge of FPGA design methodologies and tool development
