Position Summary We're looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help build and scale the next generation of data science and AI products at CVS. In this role, you'll work closely with Data Science, Product, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and operationalize machine learning systems that power optimization, audience strategy, measurement, and business insights across our enterprise. You'll be the engineering backbone behind our analytics and optimization engines-improving model deployment pipelines, strengthening ML infrastructure, and integrating emerging AI technologies into real business workflows. As a key contributor, you'll architect and scale production ML systems that transform first-party data and measurement signals into reliable decision engines-reducing cycle times, increasing impact, and enabling closed-loop, in-flight optimization. What You'll Do Build and automate scalable machine learning pipelines that support every stage of the campaign lifecycle-from data ingestion to analysis, insights, and activation. Deploy models on cloud platforms, ensuring reliability and efficient CI/CD for seamless integration into our products. Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Engineering, and business teams to turn prototypes into production-ready solutions, always keeping the right product vision in mind. Work across teams to deliver enterprise-grade analytics solutions that meet business needs and drive measurable impact. Set engineering standards, mentor teammates, and contribute to technical decision-making. Leverage the latest model technologies and AI advancements to keep our analytics and campaign products innovative and impactful. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer. Strong Python engineering skills. Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments. Familiarity with ML pipeline tools (Airflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker, etc.). Experience with API development and backend engineering. Understanding of model monitoring, testing, and lifecycle management. Ability to work cross-functionally with DS and product teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting marketing, optimization, or measurement models. Knowledge of data processing frameworks (SQL, Spark, BigQuery, etc.). Familiarity with LLMs or modern AI tools (a plus). Experience working in large, matrixed organizations. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree preferred Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $111,240.00 - $222,480.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
