Job Description

The AI Security Operations Engineer is responsible for securing, operationalizing, and scaling AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems across the enterprise. This role bridges security architecture, AI governance, and operational security, ensuring AI systems are designed, deployed, and monitored with security‑by‑design and runtime assurance. This role operates as a hands‑on technical leader and trusted advisor to engineering, AI, and business stakeholders, translating AI risk into actionable security controls without slowing innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead security design and operational oversight for AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI initiatives across the enterprise Define and operationalize AI security frameworks, standards, and review processes that govern model lifecycle, data usage, and autonomous behavior Conduct AI‑focused security architecture reviews and threat modeling to identify and mitigate risks before deployment Support and monitor agentic and autonomous AI workflows, ensuring guardrails, accountability, and runtime visibility Partner with AI leadership and accelerator programs to enable secure AI adoption at scale Translate complex AI and cybersecurity risks into clear business and patient‑impact narratives for senior leadership Contribute to and evolve enterprise AI governance programs, aligning with global regulatory expectations (e.g., NIST
AI RMF, EU AI
Act, privacy frameworks) Enable continuous improvement of AI security operations through automation, metrics, and repeatable processes Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or security operations Demonstrated expertise securing cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Hands‑on experience with AI/ML security, Generative AI, and Agentic AI concepts Proven ability to build and scale enterprise security frameworks for emerging technologies Strong background in threat modeling, risk analysis, and secure solution design Experience advising and influencing multiple stakeholders across hundreds of initiatives annually Ability to operate independently while shaping strategy and execution Preferred / Differentiating Skills Experience designing or contributing to enterprise AI cybersecurity frameworks Background supporting AI governance and accelerator programs Knowledge of global regulatory and compliance requirements (NIST
AI RMF, EU AI

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $136,044.00 - $204,066.00 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
