Job Description

Senior Data Scientist Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week•

only Key Skills & Requirements Strong experience in Python , SQL , Pandas , NLP frameworks (NLTK, spaCy), and Generative AI/LLMs Hands-on expertise in data analysis , model training/optimization , and pipeline development Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and cloud platforms (AWS; Azure optional) Experience with scalable data engineering (Spark, Airflow) and semantic search Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps , version control (Git), and deployment practices Ability to process large datasets from diverse sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, etc.) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field; 15+ years IT experience Position Overview Develop and deploy NLP and Generative AI solutions for real-world challenges Build scalable ML/AI pipelines and optimize LLM models Conduct advanced data analysis and apply statistical/ML methods to solve complex problems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close data gaps and deliver actionable insights Provide recommendations on analytic approaches and advise on data requirements
