  • What You'll Be Doing:
  • About the Role
  • The Director, AI Transformation owns the analytics AI roadmap and helps drive adoption of AI-enabled workflows across Evolent's analytics organization.
This is an enterprise-scope role focused on making AI useful, safe, and scalable across analytics teams. You will represent Analytics on the AI Governance committee, define how we evaluate and prioritize AI use cases, and lead transformation initiatives such as report automation, self-service analytics, compliance automation, and client value intelligence. A big part of success in this role is strong partnership. You will work closely with Product Analytics and Data Science to identify, implement, and measure AI use cases that improve clinical programs and specialty care offerings, with clear evidence of impact.
  • What You'll Be Doing
  • + Lead execution of Analytics AI strategy and roadmap and prioritize automation opportunities across analytics teams.
+ Lead delivery of AI transformation initiatives including automation, self-service tools, compliance reporting, and client value intelligence. + Partner with Product Analytics and Data Science to identify and implement meaningful AI use cases. + Measure effectiveness through KPIs tied to outcomes, efficiency, and cost. + Translate
ASC 350-40
into a practical way to track development work so Finance can apply capitalization rules. + Design and implement the consolidated data layer using Microsoft Fabric. + Enable access to platforms such as Azure OpenAI, DevOps, and Power BI APIs. + Build Copilot adoption programs and prompt playbooks for analysts. + Create intake models that route standard requests to self-service tools first. + Quantify ROI through time savings, capacity freed, and effectiveness gains. + Manage and develop a team of automation analysts and developers.
  • Required Experience:
  • + Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or healthcare-related field.
+ 7+ years of analytics or AI experience, including 3+ years in healthcare. + Experience leading AI or automation transformation initiatives. + Strong Azure and modern data architecture experience. + Experience translating capitalization requirements into team practices. + Advanced Python and SQL skills. + Experience with Power BI and BI tooling. + Knowledge of healthcare data and analytics. + Ability to drive adoption across distributed teams. + Strong communication and people leadership skills.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • + Master's degree in data science, machine learning, computer science, engineering, or public health.
+ Experience with Microsoft Fabric specifically (Data Factory pipelines, Lakehouse architecture, certified views). + Experience preparing materials and insights for cross-functional leadership reviews tied to specialty care or risk-based healthcare programs. + Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code for analytics environments. + Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies (DRGs, CPT codes, RVUs, APMs, bundled payments). + Experience implementing text-to-SQL or natural language querying systems against enterprise data assets. + Background in change management or organizational transformation in analytics or technology functions. + Experience partnering with data science teams on applied ML/AI use case development and deployment.   • Technical Requirements:
  • We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

  • The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $130,000 - 150,000.
