Job Description
AI Integrator (Mid-Level or Senior)
Job Description:
At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.
The Government Training Engineering (GTE) and Government Services Engineering (GSE) organizations are currently hiring for AI Integrators with a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior positions located in Hazelwood, Missouri.
Many of our teams are independently exploring and adopting AI tools — but those efforts often remain siloed. This role exists to change that. This is not software development or AI Engineering role; it is a program-focused position centered on discovery, synthesis, communication, and enablement. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong communicator who can surface what individual teams are doing with AI, consolidate those efforts into a shared organizational picture, and feed those insights back out so that every team benefits from what others have learned.
This position sits within the Innovation Team and plays a critical role in helping GTE & GSE
become better, faster, and cheaper by breaking down silos, reducing duplicated effort, and ensuring that AI capabilities and lessons learned are visible and actionable across all engineering teams. Beyond internal coordination, this role will help shape GTE & GSE's AI strategy and maintain active engagement with the enterprise AI team to stay ahead of emerging initiatives, tools, and direction — ensuring GTE & GSE
remains aligned with and informed by broader organizational efforts.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing discoveries across GTE & GSE
engineering teams to identify current and emerging AI applications, tools, and experiments in use
Consolidate findings into a living inventory of AI capabilities, use cases, and lessons learned across the organization
Develop and maintain clear, accessible communications that translate AI activity into insights relevant to engineering leaders and teams
Design and deliver general AI familiarization training for engineering staff, covering topics such as prompt writing best practices, appropriate use cases, common pitfalls, and the practical strengths and limitations of AI tools
Partner with the Innovation Team to help define and evolve GTE & GSE's AI strategy, translating organizational goals into actionable adoption priorities
Engage regularly with the enterprise AI team to stay current on emerging initiatives, tools, and policy direction, and bring relevant insights back into GTE & GSE
Serve as a central point of contact for AI-related inquiries across the engineering organization
Facilitate knowledge sharing by organizing forums, briefings, newsletters, or other channels that connect teams working on similar AI challenges
Identify gaps, redundancies, and high-value opportunities within the organization's AI landscape and surface recommendations to leadership
Track and report on AI adoption progress and organizational impact over time
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in program coordination, technical communications, training development, or a related role within an engineering or technical organization
Demonstrated ability to gather, synthesize, and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Hands-on familiarity with AI productivity tools and a working understanding of prompt engineering principles, AI tool strengths and limitations, and responsible use considerations
Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc) (Level 4)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience working in or alongside engineering teams in a defense, aerospace, or government contracting environment
Experience designing or delivering technical familiarization or awareness training in an engineering environment
Experience supporting innovation programs or technology adoption initiatives within a large engineering organization
Familiarity with training systems, simulation, or defense sector engineering
Knowledge of Boeing platforms or related defense aviation programs
Experience creating internal communications strategies, knowledge management systems, or community-of-practice frameworks
