Contract Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with strong expertise in Generative AI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, and Databricks technologies. The candidate will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions supporting research, clinical, and business operations in a regulated healthcare/life sciences environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy GenAI solutions using AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude. Build RAG-based applications using vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search. Design AI workflows using Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and MLflow. Implement prompt engineering, AI guardrails, and response evaluation frameworks. Develop APIs, microservices, and scalable AI applications. Implement MLOps/LLMOps best practices for deployment and monitoring. Collaborate with cybersecurity and governance teams to ensure secure and compliant AI solutions. Optimize AI workloads for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency in AWS. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in AI Engineering, ML, Software Engineering, or Cloud Platforms. Strong experience with AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude models. Hands-on experience with RAG architecture, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases. Expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and MLflow. Strong Python/PySpark programming skills. Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and AWS services. Knowledge of AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices. Healthcare/Life Sciences industry experience preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with clinical, genomics, or pharmaceutical datasets. Knowledge of AI agents and workflow orchestration. Familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, and cloud modernization initiatives. AWS and/or Databricks certifications preferred
