H-1B sponsorship is not available for this role. Overview We are seeking a highly skilled AI Systems Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced AI systems and infrastructure that support cutting-edge applications across various platforms. Your expertise will drive the deployment of scalable, reliable, and secure AI solutions, leveraging cloud computing and virtualization technologies to meet organizational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of intelligent systems that transform data into actionable insights. Duties Design and implement scalable AI architectures utilizing cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Develop and maintain web services and APIs using RESTful principles, enabling seamless integration with client applications and third-party systems. Manage virtualization environments including VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Citrix to support deployment pipelines and system scalability. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Shell Scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams employing Agile methodologies to develop software solutions in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby on Rails, Go, .NET, Node.js, and Ruby. Implement system hardening practices to enhance security posture across Linux and Windows operating systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, virtualization platforms, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), NoSQL databases (S3-compatible storage), and application deployment pipelines. Support DevOps initiatives by managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools to streamline software deployment processes. Develop microservices architectures leveraging containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Ensure compliance with IT standards for network security including VPN configurations and firewall management. Experience Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud-based AI systems within environments utilizing Google Cloud Platform, AWS (including S3 storage), or Azure. Strong background in virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, Rackspace hosting environments, and Citrix solutions. Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts including SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and cloud architecture best practices. Hands-on experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell; proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database Management System (DBMS), Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL data stores is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to develop RESTful APIs for web services integration; understanding of microservices architecture is preferred. Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) integration is a plus; experience working within Agile teams is essential. Strong understanding of system security principles including system hardening techniques for Linux/Unix/Windows environments. Experience with application development frameworks such as .NET or Node.js; familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools.
