Work closely with the MAPDL development team to test, validate, and benchmark AI agent capabilities for Ansys MAPDL simulation workflows. Transform traditional GUI-based simulation workflows into AI/LLM-driven workflows through prompt engineering and intelligent automation. Support simulation workflow validation, error handling, model abstraction, and model simplification. Evaluate how AI agents can support simulation model validation, live solution monitoring, troubleshooting, and intelligent workflow automation. Contribute to intelligent simulation diagnostics, input model checking, live and post-run observability, error detection, and hot-spot diagnosis. Evaluate third-party AI tools and APIs, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar platforms. Collaborate with MAPDL development teams and ACE teams across multiple geographies. Help drive Synopsys-Ansys innovation efforts by improving AI agent capabilities for engineering simulation workflows.What You'll Need:
Currently pursuing a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Strong motivation to learn new simulation and AI technologies. Strong interest in AI/LLM-based prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and application automation. Proven ability to overcome obstacles and drive projects to completion. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies. Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Key Program Facts:
