Job Description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an AI Architect that is fully remote. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. This role will be responsible for defining and executing the organization's AI strategy, designing scalable AI systems, and guiding the development of intelligent applications that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems, including large language models and generative AI technologies. This individual will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate strategic initiatives into scalable, secure, and high-performing AI-driven platforms. Key Responsibilities AI Strategy & Architecture
  • Define and drive the organization's AI and machine learning roadmap, ensuring alignment with product strategy and business goals.
  • Design and implement end-to-end AI systems, from identifying use cases and prototyping models to deploying scalable production pipelines.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks to guide architectural decisions and innovation. AI/ML System Development
  • Design and deploy AI and machine learning solutions using technologies such as LLMs, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Integrate generative AI and intelligent agent frameworks to improve products, automation, and internal workflows.
  • Develop scalable AI infrastructure within cloud-native environments. Data & MLOps Architecture
  • Architect robust data pipelines, model training processes, deployment systems, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Establish best practices for MLOps, model governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement prompt engineering strategies for complex AI workflows, including multi-step agent orchestration and scheduling frameworks. Responsible AI & Compliance
  • Ensure AI systems are designed with security, compliance, and governance standards in mind.
  • Implement guardrails, throttling mechanisms, human-in-the-loop systems, and fail-safe controls.
  • Support responsible AI practices including bias mitigation, explainability, transparency, and auditability. Leadership & Collaboration
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineering and data science teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, engineering, and executive leadership.
  • Promote best practices for AI development, deployment, and operational scalability. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture or advanced machine learning engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Claude, or Llama in production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Proven ability to design and deploy production-ready ML pipelines and MLOps workflows.
  • Strong understanding of AI system security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience implementing guardrails, monitoring systems, and human-in-the-loop validation mechanisms for AI systems. Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience building and deploying enterprise-scale AI/ML systems.
  • Experience with generative AI frameworks and agent orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
  • Familiarity with data governance, responsible AI practices, and model explainability frameworks.
  • Prior leadership experience guiding enterprise AI strategy or large-scale AI initiatives.
  • Experience with Azure, Databricks, or similar cloud-based data and AI platforms.
