AI Engineer / Enterprise Cloud Software / Woodland Hills, CA

We are partnered with a leading enterprise software company that is investing heavily in artificial intelligence and machine learning to transform how organizations automate financial operations and make data-driven decisions. As part of a major expansion, the organization is building out multiple AI engineering teams and is seeking talented AI Engineers across a variety of experience levels to help develop and scale next-generation AI-powered products. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI solutions that leverage large language models, machine learning, and advanced data processing technologies. You will work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to create intelligent applications that automate workflows, generate insights, and improve operational efficiency for enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and services utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies (30%) Build scalable backend systems and APIs that support AI and machine learning workloads (20%) Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, vector databases, and intelligent search capabilities (15%) Fine-tune, evaluate, and monitor machine learning and AI models in production environments (10%) Create data pipelines and infrastructure to support model training, inference, and analytics workloads (10%) Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify and implement AI-driven solutions (10%) Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and the overall AI strategy of the organization (5%) Qualifications 3+ years of software engineering experience for mid-level roles; 5+ years for senior-level opportunities Strong programming experience with Python Experience building AI applications using technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, or similar foundation models Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar tools Experience building and deploying RAG architectures and working with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or Elasticsearch Strong understanding of API development, distributed systems, and scalable cloud-native architectures Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps best practices Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data engineering concepts Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a highly cross-functional environment Preferred Qualifications Experience building enterprise SaaS products Experience deploying AI agents and workflow automation solutions Knowledge of prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI governance practices Experience with financial technology, accounting software, or enterprise business applications Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field The Offer Competitive base salary plus bonus and equity opportunities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives with significant business impact Collaborative engineering culture with strong opportunities for career growth Hybrid work environment with a mandatory 3 days per week onsite Office locations available in Woodland Hills, CA or Pleasanton, CA Multiple openings available ranging from mid-level to senior AI Engineers
