Google Analytics Implementation Engineer TEKsystems $50.00 - $60.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, South Carolina, Sumter May 15, 2026 We are seeking a highly skilled Google Analytics & Tag Management Engineer to support enterprise-wide digital analytics initiatives. This role will focus on data governance, tracking implementation, validation, and strategy execution across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 360, and modern data collection frameworks, acting as an extension of the enterprise analytics team. This person would be required to work Hybrid in either our Chicago or Peoria, IL locations.

• Key Responsibilities
• Lead implementation, validation, and governance of tracking frameworks across websites and mobile applications.
• Configure and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) tags, triggers, and variables to support business and marketing objectives.
• Support Google Analytics 360 Suite execution, including account structure, property design, and cross-domain tracking.
• Ensure accurate data collection and quality through audits, validation processes, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with developers to provide technical guidance on tagging, architecture, and implementation best practices.
• Design and execute:
• Cross-domain and cross-site tracking
• Clickstream data collection
• User ID tracking and customer journey analysis
• Enhanced eCommerce tracking for attribution
• Custom dimensions and metrics for deeper insights
• Configure enterprise KPIs and goal tracking to measure business performance.
• Implement and support:
• Server-side tracking solutions
• Measurement Protocol usage
• API integrations with Google and third-party platforms
• Execute referral exclusions and tracking optimizations to improve data accuracy.
• Integrate analytics with third-party systems and marketing platforms.
• Provide training, documentation, and strategic support to stakeholders across technical and business teams.
• Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4 / GA360).
• Solid technical engineering background with the ability to translate business needs into tracking solutions.
• Proficiency in:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• DOM (Document Object Model) for advanced tagging implementations
• Experience with enterprise-scale analytics implementations, especially across multiple sites or applications.
• Strong understanding of data governance, validation, and quality assurance processes.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams and leadership.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
