Job Duties:

Apply statistical and machine learning algorithmic frameworks across multiple front-end and back-end applications for Wayfair including, but not limited to, marketing, measurement, storefront, personalization, merchandising, sales, service, data infrastructure, etc. Perform data mining on the vast repository of raw data and extract meaningful features and insights that will drive prioritization of models to be built. Work in complex data systems and wrangle data from multiple sources including, but not limited to, customer, clickstream, product catalog, and sales databases. Design and implement innovative machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and optimizing methods that help inform specific solutions to business problems spanning varied business functions across multiple customer and supplier touchpoints. Work closely with partner engineering teams to help bring these models into production. Serve as a consultative partner to the business product teams to help quantitatively frame the opportunities that can be solved with algorithmic frameworks. Deliver presentations to internal business stakeholders and partner engineering teams that help articulate the vision and strategy of data science, its value to the business, and build confidence in the data science solutions. Position is based in Boston, MA; however, telecommuting is permitted.

Salary:

\$114,088 to \$180,500. [

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or a closely related field.
