Remote Role Responsibilities Review technical problems, solutions, and explanations within mechanical engineering for accuracy, completeness, and methodological soundness. Identify errors, ambiguities, or gaps in reasoning and provide clear, well-justified feedback. Apply consistent evaluation standards across a range of mechanical engineering subdomains, such as statics and dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanics of materials, and machine design. Calibrate your judgments against established quality benchmarks to ensure consistency and reliability. Contribute to maintaining a high bar for technical quality across the body of work you review. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving technical content quality . Qualifications Must-Have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Strong command of core mechanical engineering fundamentals and the ability to work problems rigorously from first principles. Sharp attention to detail and the ability to spot subtle technical errors. Clear written communication and the ability to articulate why something is correct or incorrect. Comfort working independently and applying structured evaluation criteria consistently. Preferred Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering . Prior experience in technical review, grading, tutoring, or QA.
