$175k - $190k Base + bonus & equity Overview This is a senior‑most individual contributor role within a fast‑growing engineering organisation operating at massive scale in the consumer technology and security space. The company serves tens of millions of users annually and processes hundreds of thousands of real‑time events per second across its platforms. The role sits within a newly expanded NYC engineering hub following a recent acquisition and plays a critical part in advancing the company's AI‑driven product roadmap. You'll work in a highly empowered, low‑bureaucracy environment that combines the resources of a large enterprise with the pace and ownership of a startup. Responsibilities Partner closely with engineering leads and stakeholders to define what to build and how to build it Lead frontend architecture decisions for complex, high‑traffic applications Drive migration away from legacy systems toward modern, scalable frameworks Build and evolve server‑rendered applications using TypeScript‑based frameworks Integrate and operationalise generative AI capabilities to create more customised software experiences Launch and oversee AI agents used for code generation and review, ensuring quality and reliability Contribute to system design, specifications, and long‑term technical direction Collaborate across full‑stack teams in a product‑focused, customer‑driven environment Must‑Have Qualifications 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong TypeScript expertise with modern frontend and server‑side rendering frameworks Full‑stack engineering background with strong frontend ownership Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Demonstrated interest or hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development CONTACT Bekim Doçaj Principal Recruitment Consultant
