3401 Olympus Blvd., Suite 500, Coppell, TX 75019 Job description: Design and develop advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms (including modern generative and agentic AI techniques based on large language models, where appropriate) to analyze large-scale logistics and transportation datasets, providing predictive insights to optimize operations and support strategic decision-making. Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and integrate large volumes of data into the company's SaaS analytics platform. Apply advanced analytical methods and optimization techniques to solve complex logistics problems and develop algorithmic solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Create and present data visualizations, reports, and interactive dashboards to communicate analytical findings, key performance indicators, and model results to business stakeholders and decision-makers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models and analytical solutions into production systems, ensuring scalable deployment and reliable performance of the company's data-driven SaaS products. Conduct rigorous data analysis and statistical validation to evaluate model performance and accuracy, refining algorithms based on findings and ensuring highquality predictive outcomes aligned with business objectives. Mentor and guide junior data scientists and developers on best practices in data analysis, modeling, and software development, fostering their skill development and maintaining high code quality standards. Leverage specialized knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, operations management, and business economics to bridge strategy with data-driven insights, inform strategic decision-making, and ensure data science initiatives align with overall business objectives.
Job requirements:
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, or a related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: ML models for prediction, classification, & risk scoring; AWS for integrating data & AI solutions; Apache Spark; Hadoop; TensorFlow; PyTorch; neural network models; mixed-integer programming; network optimization; discrete optimization; Generative & Agentic AI using LLM; Python; SQL; Tableau; Power BI; C#; Java, and; C++.
