Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in healthcare data analytics to support advanced data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience working with healthcare datasets including claims, pharmacy, and EHR data. This role involves developing analytical models, generating insights, and supporting decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze complex healthcare datasets including medical and pharmacy claims, retail and specialty pharmacy data, and electronic health records Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning solutions, and advanced analytics using Python or R Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data analysis Create dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate insights Conduct analyses related to patient journeys, healthcare delivery systems, and industry challenges Support real-world evidence studies and patient outcomes research Analyze healthcare disparities, provider networks, care patterns, and access barriers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions Work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for statistical modeling and machine learning Experience working with healthcare data, including claims, pharmacy data, or EHR datasets Familiarity with healthcare industry concepts such as PBM, insurance, and patient data workflows Understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, PHI, and PII Experience with data visualization and dashboard development Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI models Experience working with retail healthcare or pharmacy datasets Experience conducting real-world evidence studies and outcomes research
