In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure that empowers data-driven decision-making across all business functions. You will serve as a subject matter expert and data steward, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality analytics solutions while upholding governance standards and industry's best practices. This role will report to the Manager, BI Engineering within the Tech Services organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable reporting solutions that support analytics needs across all business units. Assemble and integrate complex datasets that satisfy both functional and non-functional business requirements. Maintain and optimize existing reports, dashboards, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and performance. Act as a companywide subject matter expert for enterprise analytics. Invoke and observe data governance standards across all systems and processes. Monitor and support change management controls in alignment with internal audit and compliance requirements. Respond to and resolve system tickets submitted by end users, including break/fix support and root cause analysis. Recommend and implement improvements to data workflows, processes, and infrastructure to enhance reliability, efficiency, and data quality. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to streamline operations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and foster relationships. Communicate complex technical concepts and data findings to stakeholders in a clear manner. Educate team members and end users as needed on analytics systems and processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, or a related quantitative field; equivalent professional experience (5+ years) will be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven experience in a Data Engineer or equivalent technical role. Advanced proficiency in SQL. 5+ years of hands-on experience with BI visualization platforms such as Power BI. Working knowledge of data governance principles, access control frameworks, and change management methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools and Power Platform. Experience using Microsoft Fabric with focus in Lakehouse development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Corporate Real Estate industry. Proficiency in Python with data extraction and ingestion. Prior experience in finance or an accounting function. Familiarity with SOX compliance processes and standards. Experience in integrating AI/ML capabilities or large language model tooling. Why Join Healthcare Realty?
