Operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and precision medicine, we build tools that empower clinicians and families with data-driven, personalized insights. We are expanding our engineering team in Austin, TX, and looking for mission-driven AI/ML engineers ready to apply cutting-edge technology to challenges that genuinely matter. ⚠ No Relocation Provided Candidates must be able to work in person at our Austin, TX office. We are not offering relocation assistance for this role. Responsibilities What you'll do Design and develop AI-driven features for POD Health's mobile health application, including ML and deep learning algorithms for real-time health tracking and personalized therapy recommendations. Analyze pediatric health data including behavioral patterns, developmental progress, and genomic information using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Architect and implement LLM-based pipelines integrating OpenAI, DeepSeek, and Tavily APIs, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector database systems. Engineer automated data extraction pipelines for FDA and CPIC guideline curation across large biomedical publication datasets. Integrate AI/ML models into mobile applications and optimize for performance, accuracy, and scalability. Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy standards, including HIPAA. Collaborate with mobile developers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to align AI recommendations with medical best practices. Skills What we're looking for Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field. At least one (1) year of specialized experience in machine learning and AI development. Key Technologies - Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, API, DeepSeek, Tavily, RAG, LLMs, Vector DBs, HIPAA, Deep Learning, Genomics Ability to work on-site at our Austin, TX office.
