Job Description

Job Summary The Data Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing modern data and analytics platforms to support enterprise-level solutions. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, enabling efficient data delivery, and supporting analytics capabilities across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration solutions Build and support scalable data warehousing and analytics platforms Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database objects Implement ETL processes using tools such as Informatica PowerCenter Perform database performance tuning and optimization for relational databases Apply data warehousing and dimensional modeling techniques Develop automation scripts using Unix and Python Support data integration across cloud and on-premises environments Utilize batch scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions Support business intelligence and analytics platforms Maintain source code and version control using GitHub Work within Agile environments to deliver iterative and high-quality solutions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics Expert-level proficiency in SQL using Oracle Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter Experience with scripting and automation using Unix and Python Strong experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle, including performance tuning Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling techniques Experience building scalable data integration solutions in cloud and on-premises environments Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as OBIEE or OAS Experience using GitHub for source code management Experience working in Agile development environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern analytics platforms and real-time data processing Familiarity with generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
