Responsibilities Noblis ESI is seeking an experienced
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Systems Engineer
- to join our team of professionals providing technical and program services to our government customer in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities Include:
- + Evaluation of advanced AI/ML concepts, systems, technologies, designs, architectures, interfaces into space and ground systems.
+ Support Agile SAFe program development processes and activities. + Assist USG Program Office with analysis of alternatives to optimize technical, cost, and schedule performance considerations and improve knowledge and understanding of system, technology, and architecture tradeoffs. + Technical and programmatic support through the entire project life cycle including concept development, system definition, acquisition planning, source selection, system design, development, integration and test, system delivery, and deployment. + Work with government technical and contracts staff developing program acquisition packages. + Briefings and reports including technical and programmatic assessments presenting analysis, results, conclusions, and recommendations. + Provide acquisition advisory services during technical and cost evaluations of proposals. Required Qualifications + Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. + US Citizenship is required. + Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience OR Master's degree and 7 years of experience OR PhD or JD with 4 years of experience. + AI/ML experience. + Acquisition support experience. + Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint). + Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. + Communication skills for written reports, group discussion, and oral presentations. Desired Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math discipline with a minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree with 7 years of experience. + Knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience in one of more of the following: + Systems engineering and integration applied to spacecraft, ground, and launch systems. + R D of artificial intelligence/machine learning agents. + System acquisition, design, development, integration, test, and/or flight operations. + Small Satellite (SmallSat) systems (single vehicles, clusters, and/or constellations). + Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning technologies applied to space systems. + System modeling & simulation and/or system performance analysis. + IC mission, organizations, disciplines, systems, and/or processes. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package. Posted Salary Range USD $132,900.00 - USD $207,750.00 /Yr.
