  • Burlington MA Alexander Technology Group is partnering with an AI technology company to identify an AI Software Engineer to join a growing team working at the intersection of edge computing, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled systems.

What You'll Be Doing Build and enhance backend and systems-level services using C/C++, Go, or Python. Support the development of cloud and edge-based services, including APIs, data pipelines, and middleware components. Work with containerized applications and orchestration platforms to help deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. Contribute to automated build, test, and deployment pipelines. Assist with infrastructure automation and configuration using scripting and IaC tools. Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate AI/ML inference and data processing into distributed environments. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning. Gain experience with networking, security, and observability in large-scale systems. Qualifications 1-3 years of software development experience. Experience with C/C++, Go, or Python. Must be experienced working in Linux environments and using Git. Basic understanding of networking concepts and web protocols. Experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of AI systems, edge computing, and modern DevOps practices. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
