The Identity and Access Provisioning team enables customers to govern the lifecycle and access of all identities including employees, agents, non-human and partners through Entra Identity Governance product. The team is looking for an action-oriented Principal Engineering Manager who will expand the scope of our governance and provisioning products across human/non-human identities accessing applications, directories and resources in customers' cloud and hybrid environments. Responsibilities Your core responsibilities include managing a team of engineers in the Identity and Access Provisioning team, responsible for delivering a planet-scaled, business-critical and secure-by-default service that supports Entra Identity provisioning and Governance products. You will collaborate with teams across Identity division, Microsoft and industry to build identity products that work with a large ecosystem of first party and third party business applications. You will build and grow a team of motivated and empowered engineers who aim high, challenge themselves, deliver big and learn at every step of the way.
Qualifications Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of industry experience working on commercial software application or cloud services 3+ years of experience managing engineering team(s) Working experience in cloud services, large scale systems and identity products/services is a plus Track record of managing team(s), fostering innovation and delivering results through leadership and collaboration Software Engineering M6
  • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $165,600.00
  • $296,400.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800.00
  • $331,200.
