Job Description

Enterprise AI Solutions Engineer Location:
Milwaukee, WI area (onsite preferred, remote considered for the right person)
Schedule:
Flexible 1st shift hours (typically around 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Travel:
Minimal, typically quarterly or project-based
Compensation:
$120-150K What You'll Be Doing This is a unique opportunity to help shape how a growing aerospace manufacturer uses AI across the business. Rather than working on customer-facing products, you'll be building internal tools, automations, and AI-driven applications that improve efficiency for teams across operations, sales, finance, supply chain, and other departments. You'll work directly with company leadership to identify challenges, propose solutions, and rapidly build applications that make an immediate impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Building custom web applications and internal business tools Creating AI-powered automations and workflow solutions Integrating APIs, databases, and third-party systems Developing and testing new AI use cases across the business Working with department leaders to understand processes and eliminate inefficiencies Evaluating emerging AI technologies and recommending practical solutions Documenting and supporting applications after deployment To be considered, you should have: 3+ years of software development experience Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages Experience building web applications, business tools, or workflow automation solutions Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, Claude, Azure AI, LangChain, or similar technologies Experience integrating APIs and working with databases or data pipelines Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Ability to take a business problem and turn it into a working solution quickly Nice-to-Have Experience RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) AI agents and automation frameworks Low-code/no-code AI platforms AI orchestration tools Manufacturing, engineering, or operational business environments Why This Role Stands Out Direct access to leadership and decision-makers Opportunity to build an AI program from the ground up Freedom to recommend tools and technologies rather than being locked into a single stack High visibility projects with measurable business impact Growing company where your work won't get buried in a backlog Ability to influence long-term AI strategy and adoption This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems with technology, moves quickly from idea to execution, and wants the freedom to experiment with emerging AI tools while building solutions that people actually use.
