Minneapolis, Minnesota Salary:
$31-33 hourly
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm (occasional evenings and weekends) Reports to: Executive Director Job Summary Working across programs and projects, the Evaluator plays a key role in the design, management, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation protocols, tools, and systems. Independently and collaboratively, ensures accurate, timely, and thorough entry of program data, and utilizes data to perform analysis and reporting, at regular intervals and as needed. Assists Program Managers in the preparation and presentation of data. Plays an active role enhancing and maintaining the agency's relationships with stakeholders through qualitative and quantitative storytelling. Duties and responsibilities Analyzes and synthesizes data to drive project and program decision-making Collaborates to ensure ongoing development and implementation of the evaluation plans Analyzes evaluation issues and demonstrates creative problem solving Oversees the development, quality, and reliability of multiple data management systems Communicates efforts and outcomes to all stakeholder groups Publishes and disseminates general and audience specific reports, when requested and at regular intervals, in various formats Assists in the design and oversees the implementation of clinical quality protocols and procedures Leads clinical quality analysis of HIV and STI testing data by performing monthly and other periodic reviews of testing files Provide regular feedback to certified testers on clinical quality adherence and provide regular report to the program manager on ongoing and emerging trends in clinical quality issues Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master's degree in statistics, sociology, public health, psychology with emphasis on quantitative and qualitative analysis, or other related discipline(s) 2+ years of community level program monitoring and evaluation practice Thorough knowledge of and practice in leading the design and evaluation of data systems Excellent organizational and communication skills, including independent writing skills Keen attention to details and accuracy Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks with accuracy and respond to changing priorities Ability to adapt communication appropriately for purpose and audience Knowledge of indigenous evaluation and respect for Native cultural traditions Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in sociology, psychology, social work, or similar discipline Minimum of five years or more of experience of applied program evaluation design, applied statistical analysis and management of evaluation projects Knowledge of Indigenous evaluation values and techniques Technical skill and utilization proficiency in Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of community dynamics and community assessment, Community Readiness Ability to travel as needed Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
