Job Description

SHIFT:
Day (United States of America) Biostatistician II - The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA): Provide advanced biostatistical services for investigators, including data preparation, analyses, methods and design consultation, and writing of statistical results, to drive improvements in patient safety and clinical outcomes. Conduct analytical work leveraging advanced statistical methodologies such as survival analysis, longitudinal analysis, mixed models, regression analysis, and causal inference to analyze complex clinical and administrative healthcare data. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate data into actionable strategies. Work on multiple clinical research projects and integrate data analysis from multiple organizations. Develop predictive models to refine risk assessment and optimize protocols based on research insights. Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, and communicate findings to diverse audiences, including clinicians, scientists and programmers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics or a closely related field and 3 years of related experience, or alternatively a Master's degree in same and 1 year of related experience. Experience must include performing advanced statistical programming in a healthcare environment using SAS and R, and statistical methods including mixed modeling, propensity score matching, inverse probability treatment weighting, and survival analysis, performing clinical trial analytics, and working with large and complex datasets such as PHTS, PEDIMACS, and SVR trial. Salary Range:
