Job Description

The Senior Research Biostatistician provides biostatistical collaboration and consultative services to Cancer Center investigators in the conduct analysis and publication of clinical, biological, behavioral and cancer control research projects. This position creates and executes computer programs to import, merge and process data to create analytic datasets; conducts statistical analyses using appropriate statistical methods; and assists in the interpretation and presentation of results and reports. Senior Research Biostatisticians interact directly with researchers to define study objectives, establish analysis plans, and provide statistical experimental designs. Position is also involved in ongoing monitoring of investigator initiated clinical trials. Education Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or Data Sciences Required Experience 5 years experience in data analysis and interpretation of results Required 3 years experience in a biomedical research environment with a publication track record Preferred 5 years experience with statistical programming languages (e.g.
SAS, R, STATA
