Clay Davis clay.davisnist.gov 843.460.9878 Tracey B Schock tracey.schocknist.gov 843.460.9944 Description Omic based non-targeted measurement methods hold great promise for the advancement of precision and personalized medicine. By integrating proteomic, metabolomic and lipidomic approaches, health status can be assessed by surveying a complete, unbiased biochemical profile in biofluids (urine, plasma/serum), tissues and cells. This project focuses on the development of biological sample preparation methods compatible with NMR and mass spectrometry-based techniques for assessing profiles and relative differences between samples and computational/bioinformatics principles to enhance the reliable identification and classification of the differences amongst profiles.
