This senior role provides strategic direction and operational oversight for biostatistics across FCCC, enabling high-impact, collaborative research and the effective use of innovative statistical and computational approaches throughout the Center's diverse research programs. Academic appointment will be consistent with experience. What you'll do Provide strategic leadership and oversight of biostatistics to advance research excellence across FCCC. Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty and staff biostatisticians; cultivate a collaborative, service-oriented culture. Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure FCCC members have timely access to high-quality biostatistics support and collaboration. Champion and implement cutting-edge statistical and computational methods across research programs. What we're looking for Education Doctorate Degree PhD or ScD in Biostatistics, Statistics or Data Science (Required) Qualifications A proven leader with demonstrated excellence in biostatistics and collaborative research. Experience building and guiding teams through recruiting, mentoring, and operational management. Ability to translate advanced statistical and computational approaches into impactful research partnerships. Demonstrated experience conducting research with a strong focus on biostatistics in cancer or related biomedical fields (Required) Proven track record of successful grant writing and funding acquisition from agencies such as the NIH and other competitive funding sources (Required) Strong publication record in high-impact journals (Required) Experience working in an NCI-designated cancer center or a similar research-intensive environment (Required) 10+ years post doctorate experience as a practicing biostatistician (Preferred) Experience in the design, execution and reporting of cancer treatment clinical trials (Preferred) Experience in successful preparation of CCSG shared resources and

quantitative core proposals (Preferred) General Experience and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in cancer research, including personalized medicine, clinical trials, and data integration (Preferred) Expertise in modern computational techniques, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as applied to biostatistics and experience with High Performance Computing (Preferred)
