Alamo St. San Antonio, Texas, 78215 United States Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Job Summary and Description The Reporting Analyst develops and maintains reports and dashboards that provide actionable data to College and District stakeholders. This position collaborates with cross-functional and cross-college teams to gather requirements, compile data, and translate results into dashboards and reports. The analyst ensures the accuracy and relevance of reporting solutions to support strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and promote institutional effectiveness. Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree. An associate in applied science degree with a major in computer information systems (CIS) (or educational equivalent), management information systems (MIS) or a closely related field plus four years of experience as an applications programmer or analyst may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree. Three years of professional work experience with industry standard reporting and/or business intelligence tools (e.g.: Tableau, Argos, Cognos, Power BI, SAP, etc.).
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree. Degree in applied science with a major in CIS, MIS, or a closely related field. Five or more years of experience in business intelligence or report development. Five or more years of experience in Higher Education.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must have a valid driver license and be insurable through the organization's insurers. Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen EEO Statement
