P2P (Procure-to-Pay)
Process Lead Location:
Corona, CA - 3 days onsite every week. Open for outstation candidates as well, if they are fine with 3 days onsite every week. Expenses will be reimbursed. Permanent Key Responsibilities Process Strategy & Design Lead end to end Procure to Pay process design covering Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, Invoice Processing, Invoice Reconciliation, and Payment Execution. Conduct current state (As Is) assessments and document process baselines to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and value leakage. Design future state (To Be) processes aligned with
SAP S/4HANA
standard capabilities and global best practices. Facilitate process harmonization and standardization workshops across regions and business units. Diagnose process inefficiencies using quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Define process KPIs and value drivers (cycle time reduction, compliance, automation potential, cost control). Support creation of a Process Center of Excellence (CoE) model, including governance, standards, and ownership frameworks. Collaborate with SAP functional teams to ensure process designs are solution ready and aligned to
SAP S/4HANA P2P
capabilities. Support integration touchpoints with upstream/downstream processes (O2C, Inventory, Logistics, Finance). Provide inputs into configuration, testing scenarios, and business validation from a process perspective. Ensure P2P processes support internal controls, auditability, and compliance requirements (e.g., approvals, segregation of duties). Define and validate approval workflows, exception handling, and process controls. Support documentation required for SOX aligned or audit ready processes (where applicable). Act as a bridge between business users and implementation teams. Support change management through process walkthroughs, training inputs, and user adoption materials. Communicate process impacts clearly to business stakeholders and leadership. Diagnose process inefficiencies using quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
