  • FP&A and EPM/ERP Transformation Excelerate LLC is a boutique consulting firm distinguished by its hands-on, collaborative approach to solving complex business challenges.
We partner closely with our clients, bringing deeply experienced consultants who work in a facilitative style to deliver practical, lasting impact. Our work is grounded in four core values: humility, energy, integrity, and flexibility. These principles shape our culture, guide our work, and define the people who thrive here. As a Consulting Manager focused on FP&A and EPM/ERP transformation, you'll lead a large-scale, multi-year finance transformation program. This is a high-visibility engagement at the intersection of enterprise cloud modernization, finance process redesign, and organizational change anchored around a full reimplementation of an EPM and ERP landscape into a cloud-native solution. This is a strategic advisory and program leadership role
  • not a hands-on technical implementation position.
We're looking for someone who understands what effective finance transformation looks like, brings practical experience from prior cloud implementations, and helps stakeholders navigate process design, system decisions, and organizational change. This work focuses on helping modernize finance systems and processes, including planning, forecasting, and reporting, through cloud-based EPM and ERP solutions (such as Oracle). Initial efforts will center on FP&A and EPM, with broader ERP transformation to follow. You'll work across teams to coordinate priorities, partner with key senior stakeholders, and help move initiatives from planning through execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Transformation Leadership & Program Oversight Serve as the primary domain expert and program lead for the EPM/ERP cloud transformation, guiding strategy, sequencing, and execution across workstreams. Lead cross-functional program team coordination across finance, technology, and business stakeholders, driving accountability and momentum throughout the transformation lifecycle. Manage program roadmap, milestones, risks, and dependencies to maintain clarity and forward progress in a complex, matrixed environment. Engage directly with senior leadership, preparing executive readouts, steering committee materials, and progress updates. EPM/ERP Domain Expertise & Advisory Bring deep, hands-on knowledge of EPM and ERP cloud implementations to guide process fit-gap analysis, design decisions, and vendor/platform evaluation. Advise Chart of Accounts redesign and how it connects into the EPM and planning architecture (FP&A, forecasting, and reporting). Help the SteerCo think through what to automate, what to rethink, and how to move from legacy processes to cloud-native best practices. Speak credibly to Oracle Cloud EPM/ERP or equivalent platforms, drawing on prior implementation experience to inform solution design. Finance Process Reimagination Drive a dedicated workstream focused on the connection of planning, forecasting, and reporting processes into a cohesive, cloud-native EPM architecture. Partner with Finance and FP&A stakeholders to align transformation solutions with operational, reporting, and compliance requirements. Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enable better decision-making through the new platform. Mobilization & Change Management Support program mobilization efforts to ensure the work is ready to be executed on day one; standing up operating rhythms, governance structures, and building team norms. Drive change management efforts to help business teams understand transformation impacts and build organizational readiness for the new system and processes. Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder alignment forums across finance, technology, and executive leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
Domain Expertise & Experience 5+ years of management consulting or equivalent experience in leading strategic or transformation initiatives. Experience in EPM/ERP cloud transformation, finance transformation, or enterprise technology consulting, with a strong track record of seeing complex implementations from strategy to execution. Deep understanding of the EPM landscape: how planning connects to forecasting, reporting, and FP&A, and how to implement it the right way in a cloud-native environment. Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud EPM/ERP or equivalent platforms; Oracle experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with Chart of Accounts redesign and how upstream ERP architecture feeds downstream EPM and reporting. Demonstrated knowledge of finance domain terminology and processes across Record-to-Report, FP&A, and planning cycles. Program Leadership & Delivery Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional program teams through multi-year transformation programs in complex, matrixed organizations. Experience in standing up program governance, operating rhythms, and mobilization plans from the ground up. Strong executive communication skills with an ability to prepare and present materials to C-suite and senior leadership with clarity and confidence. Comfortable managing ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving scope across a long-horizon program. Engagement Style & Soft Skills High degree of ownership and accountability, someone who takes initiative, follows through, and drives outcomes without waiting for direction. Operates with velocity and a bias toward action, while maintaining breadth of view across a full program. Strong cross-functional collaborator who can engage across finance, technology, and executive stakeholders, bringing everyone along through both push and pull. Comfortable engaging with IST time zone on occasion to support global program coordination. Other West Coast-based required; Mountain View, CA or San Diego, CA preferred. Willingness to travel to Mountain View, CA on occasion. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
