Job Description

Role Summary The
SAP FI & RAMS
Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting financial accounting, controlling, budgeting, and revenue asset management processes. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, efficient revenue operations, and seamless integration between SAP FI modules and revenue management systems (RAMS/PropWorks). Key Responsibilities SAP FI - Finance & Controlling Provide functional support for: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (asset lifecycle, capitalization, depreciation, decommissioning) Special Ledger and Chart of Accounts maintenance
Manage Funds Management :
Budget planning and allocation Monitor budget availability (AVC controls) Track commitments and actual expenditures Support Controlling (CO) : Cost Center Accounting Internal Orders Financial tracking and reporting Project Systems & Budgeting Maintain and manage: Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Project planning and cost tracking Support fiscal year budget loads and financial planning Monitor fund allocation and carry-forward processes Assist with large-scale capital project tracking Financial Operations & Reporting Support month-end and year-end close activities Coordinate with accounting and reporting teams Generate financial reports and support audit requests Perform variance analysis and ensure data accuracy Support financial reporting operations and compliance RAMS - Revenue Asset Management System Provide functional support for: Revenue Customer Management Contract Management Billing and Invoicing processes Support system configuration and administration of RAMS/PropWorks Manage revenue agreements, lease configurations, and billing rules Ensure accurate revenue tracking and invoicing Revenue Operations & Interfaces Monitor and support: Data interfaces between RAMS and SAP (revenue transfers) Aviation statistics and operational data integration Utility billing and meter activity processing Handle invoice corrections and billing adjustments Support revenue-related reporting for internal and external stakeholders Reporting & Analytics Generate ad-hoc and standard reports using tools such as: Oracle Discoverer Jasper Reports Support reporting for: Revenue, concessions, and operational metrics Regulatory bodies (FAA, ACI, internal audits) Provide analytical insights on revenue and financial performance System Support & Maintenance Provide daily production support and resolve system issues Maintain master data: GL accounts, cost centers, internal orders Revenue customers, agreements, and configurations Perform system configuration, enhancements, and testing (UAT/UT) Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Training & Stakeholder Engagement Conduct end-user training for SAP FI and RAMS users Develop system documentation and process guides Support business users across finance, procurement, and revenue teams Act as a liaison between business and technical teams
Periodic Responsibilities Daily:
System monitoring, issue resolution, data interface checks
Monthly:
Financial closing, revenue reporting, billing cycles
Quarterly:
Financial and operational reporting, system validation
Annually:
Fiscal year-end close, audits, budget setup, compliance reporting Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO and financial systems Strong expertise in: Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) Budgeting and Funds Management Revenue and billing systems integration Experience with revenue management systems (RAMS/PropWorks or similar) Knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes Familiarity with reporting tools (Oracle Discoverer, Jasper, or similar) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications
SAP FI/CO
certification Experience with public sector or large enterprise financial systems Exposure to project systems (WBS) and capital project accounting
