SAP BASIS
Administrator (Cloud & S/4HANA) Must Reside in Sacramento to be Considered We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS
Administrator to support and maintain complex enterprise SAP environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. This role is responsible for SAP system administration, architecture support, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, migrations, and performance optimization across a broad SAP ecosystem. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting enterprise-scale SAP operations and modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide SAP BASIS
administration and technical support for enterprise SAP environments Support SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BOBJ, PO, HANA, Fiori/Gateway, BTP, SuccessFactors, SAC, Datasphere, Cloud Connector, and related technologies Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, migrations, refreshes, backups, restores, and troubleshooting Support both SAP ABAP and JAVA stack environments Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning activities Configure and maintain SAP systems in both cloud and on-premises environments Troubleshoot complex production issues and coordinate with infrastructure, security, network, and development teams Support SAP Cloud solutions including SAP RISE and S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition environments hosted in Azure Maintain system documentation, disaster recovery procedures, backup policies, and operational processes Support batch jobs, scripts, integrations, and automation efforts Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and system resiliency initiatives Provide on-call and after-hours production support as needed Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve outages, performance issues, and system defects Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP BASIS
Administrator supporting enterprise SAP environments Experience supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks Experience supporting SAP Cloud implementations, upgrades, or migrations Hands-on experience with SAP RISE / SAP S/4HANA
Private Cloud Edition environments deployed in Azure Strong experience administering both SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications in cloud and on-premises environments Experience with SAP system design, configuration, lifecycle management, and technical issue resolution Experience with operating systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and AIX Experience supporting the following SAP technologies: ECC6 S/4HANA BW CRM BOBJ PO BPC HANA SAP BTP
SuccessFactors Cloud Connector Fiori/Gateway SAC Business Data Cloud (BDC) Datasphere Solution Manager Experience supporting SAP cloud technologies including: Integration Suite Cloud ALM Joule DP Agent Signavio Cloud Identity Services Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to support after-hours and weekend production activities when required Desired Qualifications Current SAP certifications related to SAP BASIS, S/4HANA, Cloud, or related technologies Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Deep knowledge of SAP cloud offerings and hyperscaler environments Experience with SAP system refresh tools such as LAMA or SAP PCA Add-on Experience administering NetWeaver Java Stack solutions including Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, and System Landscape Directory Experience with SAP change management tools including CTS+ and cloud/non-ABAP transports Experience administering SAP environments in DB2/AIX and RHEL environments Additional Information Long-term contract opportunity through 12/31/2026 Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be available during standard Pacific Time business hours After-hours and on-call support responsibilities are required
