  • 52/hour + Completion Bonus Monday-Friday 7am/8am start time/ Onsite We are seeking an experienced SAP Fixed Asset Data Cleansing & Migration Specialist to support a large-scale SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation initiative.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong Fixed Asset accounting, Asset Under Construction (AuC), and ERP data migration experience who thrive in fast-paced project environments. Key Responsibilities Fixed Asset (AuC) Close-Out & Backlog Resolution Partner with Engineering and Finance teams to resolve AuC close-out backlogs and complete outstanding asset capitalization activities. Coordinate Asset Distribution Forms and AuC close-out processing within SAP ECC. Provide finalized Asset Numbers to Maintenance teams for Equipment Record updates where applicable. Fixed Asset Data Cleansing & Validation Review and validate active fixed asset records to ensure migration readiness. Match machinery and equipment assets to Asset Management (AM) equipment records and document updates for alignment across systems. Identify discrepancies involving descriptions, equipment IDs, locations, and related asset details. Group and organize asset records tied to equipment BOM structures to support potential S/4 sub-asset configurations. Research missing or deleted equipment records and determine whether related asset records should be deactivated and excluded from migration. Identify incomplete or inaccurate asset data and recommend corrective actions. SAP ECC Data Updates Perform reasonable updates and corrections directly in ECC, including: Asset descriptions Location updates Missing field values General master data clean-up activities Physical Inventory & Final Asset Validation Support and perform physical inventory counts of fixed assets with departmental coordination. Reconcile physical inventory results against SAP records and prepare required updates. Process Fixed Asset record corrections in ECC based on inventory findings. Map asset records to S/4HANA structures, including: Asset Classes Useful Lives Depreciation Keys Cost Centers Accounts Plants and Locations Identify and flag records requiring SME review or further investigation. Add and maintain new asset classes within mapping documentation. Qualifications Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA Fixed Asset migration projects Strong understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting and Asset Under Construction (AuC) processes Knowledge of asset master data governance, physical inventory processes, and reconciliation Experience with SAP Asset Management (AM) and Equipment Records preferred Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Engineering, and Maintenance teams 10229673 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
