Job Description

Role:
SAP SuccessFactors AMS Expert Location:
Near Hartford CT (25-30% onsite) Duration 8-12 months
Job Description:
Modules:
SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), Onboarding, Recruiting We need a hands-on SuccessFactors functional consultant to run day-to-day maintenance and the trouble-ticket queue. This is a run-and-support (AMS) role, not a new implementation - the candidate inherits an existing SF stack and keeps it stable while resolving issues. They''ll be the client''s sole HR-systems resource during the coverage period, so self-sufficiency and a strong team-fit personality matter as much as technical skill. Must-have 3+ SuccessFactors implementations or AMS engagements with genuine configuration-level depth in Employee Central - not just admin/reporting. EC is the anchor module. Working configuration and troubleshooting experience in Onboarding and Recruiting (RCM). Comfortable owning BAU support solo - picking up a configuration they didn''t build, diagnosing issues, and resolving tickets independently without an escalation bench. Self-sufficient across the surrounding "IT" surface: role-based permissions/security, data flows/integrations, and general system administration. Strong customer-facing communication; able to work autonomously in a fully distributed, no-HQ environment.
Nice-to-have:
Experience stabilizing a poorly implemented or inherited SF stack. SF integration experience (integration center, APIs, downstream systems). Energy / mid-market industry exposure.
