Job Description

Client -- seeks external support and expertise providing specialized application support as it relates to the functionalities of management and budget. The incumbent will assist from a system perspective in a variety of tasks that manages month end, quarterly, and year-end financial and managerial reporting. They will also provide timely and accurate data submissions, manage workflow processes, perform maintenance, and provide daily system support to system end users.
Experience, Skills, and Education Experience:
Database administration or operations analysis in transportation.
Skills/Technical Specifications:
Performs system analysis, design, implementation, and support. Coordinates and updates schedule database, vehicle and operator roster systems, and related systems to produce operating schedules and reports. Oracle EPM/Hyperion Planning EPM Workforce Planning Oracle Suite of products experience Knowledge of Scripting experience (SQL, MXL) a plus
MR Reports Education:
Associate or bachelor s degree in management information, computer science, transportation planning, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in database administration or operations analysis in transportation
Tasks:
  • Document all the changes in Hyperion in the Jira dashboard for tracking purposes
  • Maintain EPM reports and create new reports based on business requirements, and migrate modified reports between different environments
  • Work with the team to find patterns and relationships in data and see opportunities to monitor data quality
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams and Digital Modernization support to help channelize the business needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Use experience and application knowledge to analyze and resolve data issues
  • Support business users with SmartView queries/templates and provide training when needed
  • Provide EPM training to new and/or current employees and contractors
  • Work with the users to help them validate the modified Hyperion reports in the QA environment
  • Provide annual res training prior to the budget call date in partnership with DM support
  • Manage planning application, metadata and data within the EPM system, partnering with DM team
  • Support business users in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical
