Work Setting:
100% on Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Requirements:
Availability to work 100% at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required); IT work experience in
DBA, DBMS
design and support and relevant computing Environments (3+ years); Experience as a database analyst with Oracle, PL/SQL, Kornshell Scripts, Data Governance and Data Warehousing. Experience with ETL Processing, Data Modeling and Data Migration (8+ years, preferred); Experience with Oracle 19c database; Experience with Data Visualization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Review current database structures / schemas and ETL processes for understanding, document existing structures / schemas and ETL processes, and identify and implement improvements; Work with customers to define new requirements for the ETL process and/or data warehouse; Design and implement approved changes to the data warehouse, as well as ETL processes; Mentor Client's applications staff on ETL processing and/or data warehouse techniques; Handle day ‐ to ‐ day management of assigned projects and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met; Write technical procedures and documents. Perform routine database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure optimal operation of Oracle 19c environments.
