Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Support:
Lead or assist in the implementation, upgrades, and support of SAP BPC, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement requirements. Design and develop BPC models for planning, forecasting, and consolidation processes. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving BPC issues and provide technical support for end-users. Business Process Optimization:
Work closely with finance, accounting, and other business departments to understand their reporting, planning, and consolidation needs. Map business processes to BPC functionality and design solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation. Recommend best practices for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation within SAP BPC. Configuration & Customization:
Configure SAP BPC application, including input templates, data models, reports, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BW
). Develop and maintain custom scripts, Business Rules, and Data Manager packages to support planning and consolidation activities. System Integration & Testing:
Support integration between SAP BPC and other systems like SAP ECC, SAP
BW, and external data sources. Conduct system testing, data migration, and ensure successful deployment of BPC solutions. Training & Documentation:
Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users, including how to use the BPC system for planning, reporting, and consolidations. Create and maintain documentation related to the BPC system, processes, and customizations. Ongoing Maintenance & Enhancement:
Perform regular system health checks, monitor performance, and ensure the SAP BPC environment is running smoothly. Identify and implement improvements or new features that enhance the user experience and system capabilities. Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BPC, including implementation, configuration, and support. Previous experience working in a finance or accounting department or closely with financial reporting processes. Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of SAP BPC version 10.1 or higher (both standard and embedded). Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP
BW, and other SAP finance-related modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO). Expertise in scripting (e.g., BPC Business Rules, VBA, or similar). Knowledge of data integration, ETL tools, and data loading from external sources into SAP BPC. Functional Skills:
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements for financial reporting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and learning. Preferred Qualifications:
SAP BPC certification (or relevant SAP certifications). Experience working in the healthcare or medical device industry.
