Job Description:
Epicor ERP Developer / Business Systems Analyst We are seeking an experienced Epicor professional to play a key role in optimizing, enhancing, and expanding the capabilities of our client's ERP environment. This individual will serve as both a technical and functional resource, working closely with leadership and business stakeholders to evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop a strategic roadmap for maximizing ERP utilization. Key Responsibilities Assess and document current ERP workflows, system configurations, and business processes. Partner with stakeholders across operations, engineering, purchasing, inventory, and finance to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct gap analyses and provide recommendations for process optimization and ERP best practices. Evaluate underutilized Epicor functionality and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability. Design, develop, and maintain Epicor customizations, BAQs, dashboards, reports, BPMs, and automation solutions. Analyze scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and production workflows to improve system adoption and business outcomes. Support data integrity initiatives, system governance, and database maintenance activities. Develop documentation, standard operating procedures, and user training materials to promote consistency and system effectiveness. Collaborate with third-party Epicor partners and consultants on strategic initiatives, upgrades, and optimization projects. Provide recommendations regarding future ERP enhancements, module utilization, cloud strategy, and overall system architecture. Lead small-to-medium ERP improvement projects from analysis through implementation. Qualifications Strong experience supporting and developing within Epicor ERP environments. Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, production, purchasing, and engineering processes. Experience creating and maintaining BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, reports, and customizations. Ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into system solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience documenting processes, developing SOPs, and supporting organizational change. Self-starter capable of working independently while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred Experience Epicor 10/ Kinetic experience. Manufacturing industry experience. ERP implementation, upgrade, or optimization project experience. Exposure to cloud-hosted ERP environments. SQL and reporting tool experience. What Success Looks Like During the first several months, this individual will gain a deep understanding of the business, assess the current ERP environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish a roadmap for future system enhancements. Long-term success will be measured by improved ERP utilization, streamlined business processes, increased operational visibility, and successful execution of strategic ERP initiatives.
