The ideal candidate has handson experience working inside manufacturing plants, understands shopfloor operations, and can translate operational needs into welldefined system and process improvements. This role supports operational excellence, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives across one or more manufacturing sites.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Process ImprovementServe as a subject matter expert for manufacturing processes, systems, and technology solutions.
Analyze currentstate industrial and business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Gather and document business and functional requirements from plant operations, engineering, quality, EHS, and IT stakeholders.
Develop process maps, workflows, and functional specifications to support system enhancements and new implementations.
Recommend and help implement process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness. Manufacturing Systems & IntegrationSupport the configuration, implementation, and integration of manufacturing systems, including:
ERP systems (SAP preferred)MES and shopfloor systemsSupporting industrial and operational platforms (e.g., PLM, SCADA, data platforms)Ensure systems are effectively integrated across the plant and aligned endtoend from enterprise to shopfloor.
Participate in system testing, validation, and deployment activities.
Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and user assistance. Stakeholder Collaboration & Project SupportAct as a bridge between manufacturing operations, OT, IT, engineering, and external vendors.
Participate in projects as a functional and technical contributor, supporting project planning and execution.
Lead functional workstreams or support overall project leadership during system implementations.
Coordinate with application vendors and IT service providers to deliver enhancements, integrations, and support services. Training, Documentation & AdoptionDevelop and maintain process documentation, system documentation, and user guides.
Provide enduser training and support adoption of new or enhanced systems.
Promote consistent process usage and system best practices across manufacturing sites. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations or industrial environments.
Handson experience working in or supporting manufacturing plants.
Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MES or shopfloor systems.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as production operations, quality, maintenance, and EHS.Experience with systems integration, including enterprise and plantfloor systems.
Ability to analyze, document, and design business processes and workflows.
Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
