Techno-Functional Consultant -
Job Description Role Summary:
The
SAP FSRI
(Financial Services & Risk Management / Insurance) Techno-Functional Consultant acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role requires deep domain knowledge in Banking, Financial Services, Risk, or Insurance, combined with strong technical, data, and system implementation skills to design, configure, and deliver enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities Understand and analyze FSRI business processes including: Banking & Financial Services Risk Management (Credit, Market, Operational, Liquidity)Insurance (Life, General, Health)Regulatory & Compliance (Basel, IFRS, Solvency, AML, KYC)Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD / FRD). Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, risk teams, compliance teams, and operations. Define data requirements, KPIs, reports, and dashboards. Assist in UAT planning, execution, and sign-off. Support process re-engineering, automation, and optimization initiatives.
Technical Responsibilities:
Work on enterprise applications such as: Core Banking / Insurance Systems Risk Platforms (e.g., credit risk engines, regulatory reporting tools) Data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms. Perform system configuration and functional setup.
Write and review:
SQL queries Data mapping documents Interface / integration specifications. Support API integrations, batch jobs, and ETL processes.
Collaborate with developers on:
Enhancements Bug fixes Performance optimization Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background Bachelors degree in: Engineering Computer Science Finance Information Systems Business Administration Strong SQL proficiency Experience with data models, data warehousing, and reporting
Knowledge of:
ETL concepts APIs / system integrations Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP - preferred
