This role partners closely with business and technical teams to develop a clear and accurate understanding of business drivers, enabling informed decision-making and execution of business strategies. The analyst plays a key role in supporting production processes by working closely with business users and system owners, tracking and resolving support tickets, and assisting with system enhancements. Contribute to user training and testing activities to ensure successful system performance and adoption. This role requires a solid foundation in financial and operational business processes, along with working knowledge of enterprise financial systems and related technical processes. In addition, this role involves providing guidance and oversight to an intern. The analyst will support the intern's daily responsibilities, assist with task prioritization, and contribute to their professional development through ongoing coaching and feedback. This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Global Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Oracle Support & Governance Analyze and govern General Ledger-impacting processes, involving Chart of Account Metadata, which includes Code Combinations and Cross Validation Rules Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Oracle financial systems, including Oracle Cloud, Oracle R12, Oracle 11i, and Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk Month-End Close & Production Support Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial close within Oracle GL Monitor critical Oracle AHCS, revaluation, and related close processes to ensure successful completion Track, analyze, and escalate close issues, identifying trends and root causes Partner with IT and business stakeholders to recommend and prioritize defect resolution and system improvements Establish and maintain consistency across close processes, reports, and reconciliation methodologies Annual Housekeeping & Risk Management Assist with the annual housekeeping process in partnership with management, IT, and business teams Develop and communicate timelines, guidance, and expectations for housekeeping activities Review allocation sets, code combinations, and Chart of Accounts metadata for accuracy and completeness Identify and assess areas of potential risk prior to housekeeping execution
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT 2+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or IT experience Experience in financial systems in an enterprise environment Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze large datasets, perform reconciliations, and financial reporting support Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
