  • Data Center Business Unit Job Summary Under general direction, the AI/BI Intern will support analytics, automation, and business intelligence initiatives for the Data Center Business Unit.
This role will assist with data preparation, dashboard development, AI-driven workflow improvements, and reporting tasks to help drive insight and operational effectiveness across the organization. This internship will begin Summer 2026! Responsibilities Assist in developing Power BI dashboards, automated reports, and AI-enhanced analytics for the Data Center BU. Support data preparation, cleansing, and validation activities for BI and AI projects. Partner with team members to identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements using AI tools. Run analytics queries and assist in generating business insights for leadership reviews. Help maintain SharePoint, project reporting repositories, and documentation. Provide general project and administrative support to the Data Center BU operations and analytics team. Personal Qualities Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, including AI tools. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Qualifications Minimum 3.0 GPA. Completion of sophomore or junior year in college preferred. Coursework or experience in data analytics, computer science, information systems, or related fields. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI preferred. Basic familiarity with Python, SQL/NoSQL databases, version control tools (e.g., Git), or AI/ML concepts is a plus. Working Conditions Office environment with potential hybrid/remote work flexibility . Collaboration with cross‑functional teams across AFL's Data Center Business Unit.
