The RoleKey Responsibilities1) Incident and Request Management (AMS)Analyze, diagnose, and resolve functional incidents related to SAP CAR, ensuring operational stability of retail processes.
Handle incidents and service requests involving
Validate correct data processing and integration between
Manage tickets according to priority, business impact, SLA, and operational compliance within the AMS service model.2) Functional Analysis and Process ValidationReview functional configurations and parameters in SAP CAR, ensuring alignment with retail business processes and data models.
Evaluate data integrity, consistency, and behavior across CAR processes, validating functional logic, business rules, and processing sequences.
Ensure correct end‑to‑end execution of retail processes supported by SAP CAR (sales, inventory, movements, POS).Document analyses, findings, root causes, implemented solutions, and preventive recommendations.3) Technical Coordination within the SAP EcosystemCollaborate with
Coordinate technical adjustments resulting from incidents or changes, including configuration changes, data corrections, and CAR process adjustments.
Ensure solutions are implemented in compliance with AMS governance, change management, and operational standards.4) Documentation and Operational ComplianceMaintain up‑to‑date functional documentation, including SAP CAR configurations, processing flows, diagrams, critical parameters, test evidence, and operational guidelines.
Prepare documentation required for audits, operational reviews, and internal control processes.
Record recurring solutions, lessons learned, and best practices to strengthen the AMS knowledge base.5) Test, Change, and Release SupportParticipate in SIT/UAT functional testing related to SAP CAR, validating fixes, enhancements, data loads, and operational adjustments.
Validate functional deliverables during release cycles, ensuring operational continuity of SAP CAR processes.
Provide support during post‑release stabilization, monitoring POSDTA, TLOGs, batch processes, and data loads.6) Continuous Improvement within the AMS ModelIdentify optimization opportunities in SAP CAR processes, data flows, and business rules.
Propose improvements aimed at increasing stability, performance, traceability, and functional control.
Contribute to documentation, standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives within the AMS service.
Who You AreRequired Technical KnowledgeFunctional experience with SAP CAR, ideally including:
Log analysis, data validation, and interpretation of processing results.
Basic SQL knowledge (desirable).Familiarity with ITIL and AMS operating models. Soft SkillsClear and effective communication with technical teams and business users.
Strong functional analysis and structured troubleshooting skills.
Organization, accurate documentation, and disciplined ticket follow‑up.
Collaborative mindset when working with multidisciplinary teams.
Results‑driven attitude with a focus on operational stability and continuous improvement.
Effective time management and prioritization of incidents.
Education and CertificationsBachelor's degree or engineering in systems, computer science, or related fields.
SAP training or certification in SAP CAR (desirable).+5 years experienceITIL certification (desirable).ExperienceExperience in SAP functional support within an AMS model.
Proven experience supporting SAP CAR in productive environments.
Experience in retail industry environments is a strong plus.
Participation in operational stabilization, support transitions, or productive go‑lives.
